American 180 M-2 (Selected Fire)
The American 180 is available in semi-auto or selective fire models. The automatic rifle fires over 1800 rounds per minute, thirty rounds per second. Because it uses .22 caliber long rifle ammunition, recoil, barrel climb, and body rotation are minimal, making it an extremely accurate and controllable weapon. With very little practice, the entire 177 rounds in the drum can be placed in a three-inch circle at twenty yards... all in six seconds. It can even be fired on automatic with one hand, and still produce accurate, controlled, firepower.
The American 180 is a dependable weapon, having been successfully tested under the most grueling conditions. Cold, heat, sand, humidity, rain, snow, and ice have failed to stop it. In firing thousands of consecutive rounds, there has not been a single malfunction. Efficient and simple in design, it can be completely disassembled and reassembled without tools in less than a minute.
In-field use by law enforcement agencies around the world has shown the many tactical applications of the weapon. In the semi-automatic mode it can be used as a rifle for long range accuracy.
As an automatic weapon it can deliver accurate bursts or a screen of lead over the same distances. With the stock removed it can be concealed and handled with one hand. It has proven extremely effective in counter sniper use, stakeouts, high speed chases, road blocks, prison control, and street and alley situations.
